The Show is located at the Tambo Racecourse. Take the Alpha Road out of Tambo, the first road on the right will lead you to the Racecourse. There is plenty of parking available.

Saturday April 29th 2023. Super Horse Challenge will be held on Sunday April 30th 2023.

Cash is required for gate entry.

Gates open at 6am.

Yes, the courtesy bus operates from approximately 9am on show day until late, on loop between EE Parr Park and the Racecourse. 

The Tambo Stock Show operates on cash. A cash out facility is available at the Secretary’s Office on show day.

Any and all interested members of our community are welcome to be involved in the Tambo Stock Show. Contact details can be found in the contact section of this website. Send us an email or give us a call!

Working bees are usually held on the Wednesday and Friday of show week. Clean-up is the Sunday following the show. Many hands make light work, and we would love to see you there.

Accommodation is available at the Tambo Mill Motel and Caravan Park, Tambo Tavern and Royal Carrangarra Hotel. Please contact these businesses directly for further information.  Free camping is available at “Stubby Bend”, close to the Showgrounds. More information can be found at

If you wish to camp with animals, camping is available at the Showgrounds, near the centre ring. Please note there are no stalls, power or water. You must be fully self-contained.
Camping is available at the Rodeo Grounds in town where there is access to stalls, power and water. Stalls can not be reserved, and will not be allocated by the committee; first come, first served. Please contact Blackall Tambo Regional Council (via details above) if you plan to stay at the Rodeo Grounds. 

A courtesy bus will be on loop between the Rodeo Grounds and Showgrounds on Show Day.
